The Inevitable Truth

Some news I just found out, which was released earlier this week. Bleach will once again plummet into fillers with the anime right on the mangas tail. What is more interesting is the news that has been released about the fillers according to bleach-fan.jp a new character, Amagai Shuusuke, will be taking over the third division captain position. The story will also return to Soul Society starting sometime next month, April. What puzzles me is the episode titles that have be released up to the April 02 are the following, 164. Ishida’s Strategy, the 20-second Offense and Defense, 165. The Murderous Intent Boils! The Joyful Grimmjow, 166. Ichigo’s Promise, the Destined Battle, 167. Grind Pantera! Grimmjow Strikes Back. Now as us manga readers know, if 167 or even 168 is the last Bleach episode before fillers that would mean that they’re planning of cutting a whole lot of Hueco mundo action out. Which I can’t even begin to imagine how they plan to fix. Hopefully they will finish the Hueco Mundo ark off before splicing in some fillers

Ok then..Kubo Tite is officially a dick. Yeah you’re a talented writer, Bleach is neck and neck with Naruto Shippuuden as the most popular animé in the world right now, but give us a fucking break with the filler episodes. Consecutive fillers for Bleach is like finding out your girlfriend is going to be on her period….for a month. Why can’t he write stuff so that we don’t have to waste our time watching bullshit episodes about stuff like baking cakes and Arrancar’s blowing snot out of their nose? Is it that he just took out a mortgage for his house and he wants Bleach to last as long? I swear, because of the pace, flashback sequences for almost everyone and everything, and filler episodes, its the most drawn out story I’ve ever seen. I won’t be surprised to see an episode one day based on a fight between 2 characters, one provokes the other, they both have flashbacks of their past, then either of them goes to striking a blow and before even landing it the screen freezes and we see the words “To be Continued..” piss us off at the bottom of the screen again. The funny thing is this has probably already happened several times since I’ve began watching Bleach.

Tite-san, give your fans a break and work a little more for crying out loud. Its already torture waiting a whole week just for one 22-minute episode, of which 14 minutes are actual new storyline material, just to see what happens next.

*UPDATE* It was revealed in episode 165 that the next episode of Bleach will air on April 9th.

    Work? A little more?

BUDDY. He doesn’t have control of the anime, as far as filler arcs go. If the anime catches up with the manga, that’s all there is to it. It has to be filler time.

And he doesn’t even get any days off. He has to churn out 19 pages in a single week. That’s roughly 1 page every four hours.

Regardless, the way the episodes are delivered is still ridiculous. In comparison to Death Note, or any other anime i’ve followed, there isn’t any blatant time wasting as they so annoyingly do in Bleach. Its just crazy, 22 mins in total, and of that 5-6 minutes is a recap, and another 5 involves some sort of irrelevant dialogue, every week

You can’t compare Death Note to Bleach. Death Note had 37 episodes while Bleach has 166 and counting. Any long running anime will have filler and flashbacks because the anime catches up with the manga. It also gives people, who just get into watching the show, the ability to know whats going on with out having to watch the other 165 episodes. IMO, just chill out and hope the filler doesn’t last a whole year like Naruto did.

I believe that the anime develops separately from the manga, meaning that the fillers are actually the creation of the anime producers, not actually Kubo Tite’s fault.
    Give him a break.
The fillers are actually quite okay.
